Biography
Rolf Schläpfer, communications manager of Basel's pharmaceutical pharmacy Roche, leaves the company by the end of the year. He decided to take a new challenge outside the company, Roche said on Monday. The 52-year-old Schläpfer came to Roche in 1997; as CEO of a consulting firm, the company manager had previously worked for the Group. In 2006 Schläpfer was appointed a member of the Roche Group Executive Board.
