Biography
Alessandro currently is a risk model internal auditor in Intesa Sanpaolo. He provides assurance over quantitative model risk controls at the Group level in Italy and in foreign subsidiaries to internal stakeholders and national regulators. His previous experiences include managing consultancy and strategic planning in banking. He was responsible for business plan forecasting, retail branches benchmarking, due diligences in M&A. Alessandro got his Ph.D. in 2006 at the Faculty of Economics (University of Turin). He spent several years as research associate at Complex Systems Lagrange Laboratory, Institute for Scientific Interchange. The principal academic research interests regard Agent Based Model application to social, economic and financial issues; a particular attention is devoted to cognitive systems and stock markets rules and micro-structures; Several activities were focused to bank structure and organization.
