Biography
After undergraduate studies in Sussex, Dr. Jeffrey studied Clinical Pathology at Sheffield Medical School, followed by his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and his postdoctoral fellowship at Aberdeen University Medical School and Royal Grampian University Hospital, respectively. He earned his FIMBS in Clinical Bacteriology in the UK. Later he studied his Diploma in Hospital Infection Control in Aberdeen before he received his Certificate in Patient Safety & Prevention of Medical Errors from USA. He has several qualifications in Management including Change Management, IOSH Health & Safety Management and Management & Leadership from Britain. Farry is a Certified Professional in TQM. He has worked in Healthcare industry and academia concurrently for his entire career and has held appointments such as Healthcare Quality Expert, Executive Director of Hospital, and Head of University Departments and later as Professor at Bolton University. He has taught postgraduate students at British, American and UAE universities. Dr Jeffrey is a sought after speaker and has delivered important keynote speeches in national meetings in the UK, the US, Germany, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Jeffrey has intensive experience in teaching ‘Healthcare Leadership’, ‘Healthcare Quality & Risk Management’ to postgraduates and also led many Hospital Accreditation projects. Farry is recently working as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at King’s Centre for Professional Development. The Centre is an academic centre in the UAE affiliated with SBS Swiss Business School.
