Michal ÄŒakrt

Biography

In 1960s attended New York University in New York. Graduated in sociology and economy at the Charles University in Prague. After that he worked as a research fellow in the Urban Transportation Institute and Mechanical Engineering and Technology and Economy Institute. After 1989 he makes his living as management consultant and professor at the CMC Graduate School of Business. After concluding his education at the Graduate School of Management at the Harvard University, he worked as a manager for Deloitte & Touche, taught in the MBA programs at the University of California at Irvine, University of Pittsburgh, University of Calgary, Zagreb University, IEDC Bled and other prestigious schools. Dr. ÄŒakrt is the author of five books for managers and general public, and publishes in the area of managerial psychology and sociology, organizational behavior, design and change both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
