Biography
David Bailey has over 30 years of Executive experience across major corporations and geographies in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry including seven years as CEO of a USA public company. David began his career at Johnson and Johnson where he spent ten years with the ophthalmic franchise rising to the position of European Franchise Director in 1993. When it was acquired by Chiron Vision he was instrumental in merging various entities and businesses across Europe into a highly profitable franchise that was then acquired by Bausch and Lomb where he became responsible for Europe and Asia. David then moved to the USA where he became Chairman and CEO of STAAR, an ophthalmic company specialized in surgical medical devices. Since 2010 he is also owner of a consulting business guiding companies and private equity to set up strategic position and Capital raises as well as acquisitions and divestitures.
