Biography
Olga Sorkine-Hornung is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science, where she leads the Interactive Geometry Lab. She was born in the Moscow District, Russia. 2000 she earned her BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, Israel, and 2006 her PhD in Computer Science from the same university. From 2001-2006 she worked as a Postdoc at the Technical University Berlin, Germany. 2008-2011 she held a position as Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences of the New York University, NY, USA.
