Biography
A aw from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Since joining Swiss Re in 1992, she has amassed wide experience in the insurance/reinsurance business, including private equity financing and corporate responsibility. In 1998 Angela became the head of marketing and communications at Swiss Re Capital Partners in San Francisco. There she led the development of a platform for the exchange of know-how between San Francisco and Zurich on topics such as education, arts and culture and transport. After returning to Switzerland, Angela led the graduates@swissre and interns@swissre programmes and University Relations. On becoming deputy head of Corporate Citizenship in 2009, she assumed humanitarian and development aid programmes and local charity and volunteering activities. She became Co-Head of the Swiss Re Foundation when it was established in 2012 and has been its Head since 2014
