Biography
Prof. Gerd Pluschke is the head of Molecular Immunology, Swiss Tropical Institute, Basel, Switzerland. He also holds a profile of Professor in Infection biology and immunology. His basic research is in infection biology focusing on host–pathogen interactions, molecular epidemiology, immunology and vaccine design and research activities on Buruli ulcer in the fields of molecular epidemiology, transmission, immunology, treatment and diagnosis. Prof. Gerd Pluschke is the head of Molecular Immunology, Swiss Tropical Institute, Basel, Switzerland. He also holds a profile of Professor in Infection biology and immunology.
