James O’toole

Biography

 James O’Toole is President of the Communications Solutions segment of TE Connectivity. James is responsible for all aspects of sales, product development, and operations for one of the world’s largest providers of engineered electronic components to manufacturers of consumer products, including appliances, smartphones, tablets, and other electronics. His business also covers the world of high-speed communications meeting the increasing needs of hyperscale, datacenter, and telecommunications infrastructure providers. Since joining the company in 2009, James led the company’s former Circuit Protection and Touch Solutions businesses, where he successfully drove profitable growth through the launch of innovative solutions and improved operational efficiencies. He also led the successful integration of two business units (Consumer Devices and Datacom) in early 2015. His extensive experience includes a variety of leadership positions in supply chain, engineering, product management, operations, and general management. He is experienced in transforming businesses, building strong teams, and driving change. James has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
