Biography
Dr. Stephen K. Klasko, M.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the University of South Florida Physicians Group. Dr. Klasko has been Senior Vice President for Health Sciences and Dean of College of Medicine at the University of South Florida (USF) since August 2004. He is responsible for the administrative, financial, strategic, clinical and educational activities of the university's colleges of medicine, nursing, public health and physical therapy. He served as a Dean of the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. from June 2000 to July 2004. Dr. Klasko has been a Director of Fifth Third Bank since September 2012. He has been Independent Director at Teleflex Incorporated since May 2008. Dr. Klasko served as a Trustee of Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. since November 2009. He holds an MD from Hahnemann University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, both in Philadelphia. Dr. Klasko also earned a BS Degree in Chemistry and Biology from Lehigh University.
