Biography
Mr. Stuart A. Randle, also known as Stu, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Fluidnet Corporation since January 6, 2016. Mr. Randle serves as an Advisor of Cutlass Capital, LLC. Mr. Randle served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of GI Dynamics Inc. from February 2004 to September 18, 2014. He has over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to, he served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Advanced Technology Ventures. Prior to ATV, from 1998 to 2001, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ACT Medical, Inc., where he was responsible for developing and executing a new strategy that resulted in the merger with MedSource Technologies, Inc. in 2001. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Randle served as the Corporate Vice President and President of Northeast Region at Allegiance Corporation. Prior to that, he was a Corporate Officer of Cardinal Health 200, LLC (formerly, Allegiance Healthcare Corporation), where he helped plan and execute the spin-off from Baxter International in 1996. He joined Baxter Healthcare Corp. as a Group Marketing Manager for the Renal Division. He served as Vice President of Sales at IV Therapy, General Manager at Anesthesia Division and the President of Northeast Region, managing a $150 million business. He spent ten years with Baxter and was also responsible for launching the world’s first needle-less IV system, growing its sales to $100 million in two years. Prior to that, he served as the President of New England Region at Baxter Healthcare Corporation. He began his career at Ingersoll-Rand, where Mr. Randle served as the Sales and Application Engineer as well as a Distribution Manager. He has been Independent Director of Flex Pharma, Inc. since October 2014 and serves as its Lead Independent Director. He has been a Director at Teleflex Incorporated since May 2009, Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. since February 27, 2006. He served as Director of GI Dynamics Inc. from 2003 to November 5, 2014. He served as Director of Baxter Healthcare Corporation. He served as Director of Specialized Health Products International, Inc. since 2001. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Echelon Ventures. Mr. Randle holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University
