Biography
Dr. Aegisdottir is the programme director of the UNU Land Restoration Training Programme (UNU-LRT). She has broad experience teaching at the university level and has organised and participated in botanical and ecological field courses and expeditions in many different ecosystems, from Svalbard in the Arctic to the Galapagos Islands at the Equator. She has published on plant ecology, botany and biogeography in peer-reviewed journals and public literature. Dr. Aegisdottir has given variety of lectures to the public as well as at international conferences.
