Biography
Cinzia Cinesi obtained her Bachelor in Biology from the Università dell’Insubria in Varese in 2013, where she worked on the phylogenetic characterization of Salmo trutta macrostigma, in SIC Monte Arcosu, in the lab of Serena Zaccara. After a First step Master’s project in the lab of Nouria Hernandez, she joined Vincent Dion’s group for her Master’s research project.
Research Interest
She will be testing whether contracting expanded trinucleotide repeats can alleviate the symptoms of myotonic dystrophy.
