Research Interest
Prevention / Tobacco Research on smoking cessation in people with type 2 diabetes as part of the DISCGO (Diabetes and Smoking Cessation: a Gender Oriented Study) study supported by the Swiss National Fund for Scientific Research. The objective is to test the effectiveness of a tobacco cessation intervention, adapted to gender, in people with type 2 diabetes and to measure the metabolic consequences of stopping smoking. Medicine and Gender Research on the theme "Gender and medicine". A first "action research" project on the integration of a gender sensitivity in medical education aims at integrating the gender dimension in the care of patients with the aim of improving the latter. A second project focuses on the health of women in prison (GIPSI project: Groupe Interfacultaire Prison Santé Illegal). Other projects focus on the study of gender stereotypes in the management of general practice patients.
