Biography
After graduating in Lausanne and Paris (Center Sèvres), Claire Clivaz was a professor at the University of Lausanne, six years at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies. New Testament), and one year at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Digital Humanities). She is now Head of Digital Enhanced Learning at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (Digital Humanities).
Research Interest
She is particularly interested in the links between epistemology and the support of writing in antiquity, modernity and digital culture. She is a member of several scientific committees (ADHO steering committee, EADH steering committee, IGNTP, Humanistica, etc.). ) and editorial (Digital Religion, de Gruyter, New Testament Studies editorial board, etc.). She co-directs with David Hamidovic a series at Brill, "Digital Biblical Studies." She and David Bouvier direct a National Fund on the Arabic manuscript of the letters of Paul (wp.unil.ch/nt-arabe/ , PhD student Sara Schulthess), participates with six other European partners in the ERASMUS + strategic partnership in Digital Humanities ( dariah.eu/teach ), and leads the etalks development, multimedia publication (etalk.vital -it.ch). Dr. Corinne Egasse and Ani Ghazaryan Drissi obtained their thesis in the New Testament under his direction.
