Biography
Assistant physician at the University Center for Forensic Medicine (CURML) and the Medical University Clinic (PMU), Bernard Favrat is a specialist in medical expertise. Its two fields of activity are clinical expertise in traffic medicine, in relation to substance use and driving ability, as well as clinical research in internal medicine, in particular on iron and vitamin deficiencies. He was appointed associate professor of medical expertise UNIL from 1 st October 2014.
Research Interest
Bernard Favrat has been actively involved in the pre- and post-graduate teaching of the federal medical examination. His courses are in general medicine and traffic medicine and expertise. The doctor also gives post-grades conferences on driving skills and is a member of several evaluation committees in this field, including the Fachausschuss Strassenverkehr committee and the Swiss College of Driving Proficiency Specialists. In addition, Bernard Favrat is a co-expert in the examinations for the specialist in traffic medicine at the Swiss Society of Forensic Medicine. Since 2012,
