Biography
I am studying melanoma cells physiology and the nuclear hormone receptor PPARγ. So far, we showed that melanoma PPARγ activation induces a pro-inflammatory profile not only in melanoma cells, but also in surrounding fibroblasts and endothelial cells. During my thesis, I studied how pre-treated melanoma cells with statins or Rho GTPases inhibitors upregulate T and/or NK cells ligands. We obtained a reduction of the tumor growth and metastasis in vivo.
Research Interest
Melanoma immunogenicity and promote antiâ€melanoma immune response.
