Biography
Bernard Thorens received his PhD from the University of Geneva for studies on the biosynthesis of immunogluobulins in pre-B lymphocytes. He then did a first postdoctoral fellowship in Geneva working on hematopoietic growth factors with Pierre Vassalli.
