Hector Gallart Ayala
Research Officer
Faculty of Biology and Medicine
University of Lausanne

Biography
obtained my PhD in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Barcelona in 2010, working on LC-MS for food and environmental analysis. During three years PostDoc in France at LABERCA I began my scientific career in the metabolomics field (canine mammary cancer and endocrine disruption effect). In February 2015 I joined the Wheelock Lab at Karolinska Institutet working on metabolomics of pulmonary medicine (U-BIOPRED project) and cancer in collaboration with the Helleday Laboratory.
Research Interest
The research was mainly focused on the study of canine mammary cancer and to characterize the effect of endocrine disruptors in human testis using non-targeted and targeted mass spectrometry metabolomics.
