Biography
Jean-Pierre career started with (1976 ) Biology Degree, University of Lausanne (1981 )PhD Degree, University of Lausanne (1981-83 )Postdoctoral training, Harvard University, Boston (1983-87 )Research associate, University of Lausanne (1988-94 )Junior group leader, University of Lausanne (1991-97 )Privat-docent (1997-05 )Associate professor, since 2005 to till now as Full Professor. Administrative works includes; (1993-98) Secretary and Treasurer , Swiss Society for Anatomiy Histology and Embryology (SSAHE) (2005-07) President of the SSAHE. (2001-04) President of commission for the reform in 1st year of Curriculum of Medicine, University of Lausanne. Since 2003 Director of the School of Medicine, Faculty of Biology and Medicine, University of Lausanne. Since 2002 Member of the Committee of the Lemanic Doctoral School for Neuroscience, delegate and coordinator for the University of Lausanne.
