Biography
Pascal Launois, a French national, was born in 1957. He studied medicine at the University of Reims and completed a doctorate in immunology at the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon. His scientific background led him to work in various Pasteur institutes in New Caledonia, Senegal, French Guiana and Paris.
Research Interest
From 2001 to 2003, he headed a research laboratory at the Institut Pasteur de Cayenne in French Guiana, where he continued work on the immunology of the Leishmania parasite .
