Biography
Emeritus Professor, former Director of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, former Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne. He is recipient of many international Prizes in the field of nephrology and hypertension. He is a member of EMBO, the Academia Europaea, the Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina, and is a Foreign Honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is Doctor Honoris Causa of the University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. He is presently HSeT project coordinator and board member.
