Biography
Biologist with a specialization in Neurosciences, Florianne Tschudi-Monnet is a senior teacher and researcher in the Department of Physiology of the University of Lausanne. She is involved in teaching at the Bachelor and Master levels for the students in Biology, at the doctoral school of Neurosciences, in the practical works for the Medical students, and in the MAS in Toxicology.
Research Interest
Research interest is mainly in Neurotoxicology in vitro, with emphasis on the role of neuroinflammation in several neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s diseases and Multiple Sclerosis). As a member of the SCAHT, Swiss Centre for applied human Toxicology, she is responsible of the research core-project on Neurotoxicology.
