Guillaume Connan

Biography

 Mr. Guillaume Connan serves as the Managing Director at Helse Capital. Mr. Connan serves as Managing Director of Chabé. He has 15 years of private equity experience, in healthcare and IT and invested in growth and emerging European companies. Mr. Connan served as a Partner and Investment Director at Matignon Investissement & Gestion and Matignon Investissements II FCPR, where he worked on ca. 15 transactions, mostly in the healthcare sector including medical devices, medical equipment and healthcare services. Mr. Connan supervised and supported many growth SMEs, both private and public, from initial investment to exit. He co-founded two innovative information technology companies. Mr. Connan joined Helse Capital in 2000. He has invested in a wide range of life sciences companies including drug delivery and engineering, in vitro diagnostics, orthopedics, CROs, and DNA analysis. Prior to this, Mr. Connan founded EQI followed by the first French real estate Internet portal. He was an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions in charge of TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) with J.P. Morgan & Co. Inc. Mr. Connan serves on the board of several growth healthcare companies. He serves as a Board Member of Xeltis AG. Mr. Connan also served as Chairman of Xeltis AG. He served as a Director of Qiagen Marseille Société Anonyme (also known as Ipsogen) since February 5, 2010. Mr. Connan served as a Director of Eurogentec S.A. He served as a Director of Nautilus Biotech S.A. and Androclus Therapeutics, Inc. Mr. Connan is a graduate and MBA from HEC Paris Business School.
