Biography
Jim Oberhauser Ph.D. is Associate Director, Device and Packaging Engineering at Gilead, following time as a Medical Device Consultant and nine years at Abbott Vascular where he was a Senior Manager within Global Product Development. Whilst at Abbott Vascular he received the 2012 President’s Award. Prior to this, Oberhauser was the Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia for seven years, where he built a polymer science and rheology research laboratory and managed a graduate student research program. Oberhauser is published in 21 journals.
