Biography
Dr. Nicolas L'Heureux, Ph.D., serves as Director of Research at INSERM Unité 1026 BioTis, Université de Bordeaux. Dr. L'Heureux began his career as a Postdoctoral Fellow of the American Heart Association at the Department of Bioengineering. He is a Co-Founder at Cytograft Tissue Engineering, Inc. His expertise includes tissue engineering with a focus on vascular applications, human cell culture and extracellular matrix. Dr. L'Heureux serves as Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Xeltis AG. He is affiliated with eight scientific societies including Tissue Engineering Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS), International Society for Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB), the American Heart Association (AHA), and the Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery AHA Scientific Council.
