Biography
After studying economics at the University of Zurich as an economist, Gerhart Isler joined the family newspaper Zeitungsverlag Finanz und Wirtschaft AG in 1976 as an editor. In 1980, he led the company's editorship in New York, was head of the foreign department from 1981 to 1986, and subsequently held the post of director of the publishing house in 1989. After that, he became a publisher of "finance and economy", which experienced a strong growth up to the year 2000 and became the most important business newspaper in the country. Gerhart Isler sold the publishing house, but remained until the end of 2004 as an editor. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the listed PubliGroupe (2005 to the end of 2008) and of the stock exchange-traded investment company New Value (2008 to spring 2012). In 2005, he was elected to the board of the Grand Casino Baden. Since 2005 he has been the founding member of the move> med foundation, which is active in the sports sector. Since the beginning of 2010 Gerhart Isler has also been the President of Bergdietikon. 1 Willy Michel was a member of the management board of Disetronic Holding AG until April 2003 and was a non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ypsomed Holding AG from 2003 to August 2011. From August 2011 to June 2014 Willy Michel was the delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO of Ypsomed Holding AG and the Ypsomed Group. Since July 2014, he has been the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ypsomed Holding AG.
