Biography

Chantal Boulanger studied pharmacy at Nancy and then continued his education in cardiovascular biology at the Mayo Clinic. From 1988 to 1989 she worked as a Research Associate of the Cardiovascular Research Group in the Department of Research of the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital in Basel. Chantal Boulanger has been able to characterize the regulation of endotheline expression and secretion in important publications and show that Nitric Oxide has an inhibitory effect and oxidized lipids have a stimulating effect on the release of this peptide. The manuscript published in the Journal of Clinical Investigations is one of the most cited papers in the history of this prestigious journal.
