Biography
Eduardo Nava graduated from the Autonoma University of Madrid, Spain, where he received his doctorate in medicine as well as his Ph.D. made and worked as a post-doctoral fellow. In 1990 he moved to London, England, and did research as a post-doctoral fellow in the Wellcome Trust for Biomedicine. In 1993 he came to Switzerland, where he worked for Prof. Thomas F. Lüscher at the University Hospital Bern. In 1995 Dr. Nava returned to Spain to the University of Murcia. Dr. Nava's research on hypertension, aging, and septic shock in the biology of nitric oxide, as well as insights into the effects of insulin sensitizers on macrovascular and microvascular functions in hypertension. In 1999, Dr. Nava to the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, where he teaches today as Associate Professor and Physiology Lecturer.
