Edward Wight Van Dyke

Biography

Edward Wight van Dyke studied medicine in Zurich. From 1979 to 1980 he completed the Post-doctoral Program in Experimental Medicine and Biology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich. He then worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the field of experimental immunology with Prof. J. Lindenmann and Prof. H. Binz at the Institute of Immunology and Virology at the University of Zurich. From 1981 to 1982 Dr. Wight van Dyke at dr. P. Frey at the Institute of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of Trimli Hospital in Zurich. He then moved to the Department of Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology at the University Hospital Zurich, where he worked until the year 2000 with Prof. G. Duc, Prof. U. Haller and Prof. E. Hochuli. Between 1994 and 1995 Dr. Seit dem Jahr 2000 ist Dr. Wight van Dyke Direktor der Gynäkologie und gynäkologischen Onkologie an der Klinik für Geburtshilfe und Gynäkologie des Universitätspitals Basel. 2003 habilitierte Dr. Wight van Dyke an der Universität Basel.
