Biography

Erwin Oechslin studied medicine in Zurich and subsequently trained as a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. This was followed by a two-year residency at the University of Toronto in Adult Congenital Vitae. After his return to the Cardiology Clinic of the University Hospital Zurich, he was appointed Senior Physician iv and expanded the consulting hours for congenital vitals with great commitment and competence. At the same time he worked in the echocardiography laboratory under Prof. Rolf Jenni. In 2005, he was appointed associate professor of cardiology and director of the Adult Congenital Heart Attention Program by the University of Toronto.
