Matthias Hermann, Senior Physician i. V. at the Department of Cardiology and temporarily Senior Physician at the Clinic for Cardiac and Vascular Surgery was elected on April 1, 2009 Chief Physician Cardiology at the Zurich Höhenklinik Wald. Matthias Hermann studied medicine in Göttingen and then continued his education in cardiovascular research at the Institute of Physiology and at the Department of Cardiology. He has earned particular services in the field of heart failure, clinical and scientific merit. He will continue to be available to the Department of Cardiology as a 20% Gastoberarzt. In 2011 he habilitated at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich for Cardiology. Matthias Hermann, Senior Physician i.
