Biography
Ulf Landmesser is specialist in internal medicine and cardiology with further education at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. From 2007 to 2014, Head of the Coronary Care and Chest Pain Unit and Chief Physician in Interventional Cardiology with a focus on acute cardiology. 2012 Friedrich Goetz Prize of the University of Zurich for his research on HDL cholesterol. For the winter semester 2014/2015, Ulf Landmesser of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the University Hospital Benjamin Franklin was appointed Ordinary of Cardiology and Director of the Medical Clinic Cardiology - Pulmonology - Angiology and took up this position on October 1, 2014.
