Biography
Yi Shi studied medicine at the Medical College of Fudan University, Shanghai (CHN) and completed a Ph.D. at the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceuticals, Honk Kong University. Then Yi Shi came to Zurich as a postdoctoral research fellow, where she worked in cardiovascular research with Prof. Thomas F. Lüscher. In 2012, Yi Shi was appointed Associate Professor of Fudan University. She is currently involved in biomedical research at the Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai. Her research interests include the cardiovascular pharmacology of natural products (including Chinese medicine), in particular the modulating effect on vascular reactivity; and the effects of endothelial function on transplant rejection and tolerance.
