Biography
Ana Luz Bandini graduated as class valedictorian with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Universidad de Lima (Peru). She holds a Master of Laws degree specializing in international taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (USA). She has eighteen years of professional experience in the tax area, working for both Big-4 accounting firms (Arthur Andersen, E&Y and Deloitte) and Peruvian law firms (Ferrero Abogados and Martinot Abogados). Her expertise includes assisting clients in issues related to corporate and indirect taxes, as well as in international tax matters and in the structuring of cross-border transactions in a broad range of industries. She has worked in New York for almost four years as part of Deloitte’s International Core of Excellence team, gaining extensive experience in serving multinational clients in the design and implementation of international tax planning strategies. Ana Luz is a regular contributor in international publications on domestic and international tax issues. She also has experience as professor and lecturer. She is a member of the Lima Bar Association, the Instituto Peruano de Derecho Tributario – IPDT, and of the International Fiscal Association – IFA. She is fluent in English and Spanish
