Tzen-wen Chen, Md/phd

Biography

  Dr. Chen Tzen-Wen received his medical degree from Taipei Medical University (TMU) and his Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine from National Yang-Ming University (NYMU). He completed his advance studies in nephrology at University of Missouri, Columbia and later served as a Professor at both TMU and NYMU. Dr. Chen also served as the head of the Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH) and held various management positions before joining CHO Pharma.Dr. Chen brings to CHO Pharma a broad range of research and clinical experiences. During his time with TMUH, Dr. Chen led the hospital to be accredited by multiple international & local organizations and earned the award of the first National TrainQuali Prize of Taiwan. Dr. Chen believes in teamwork and action. He values integrated medical care and complete medical services. No matter what position Dr. Chen has held, he always leads with example while giving the team and institute the freedom to progress. This is why Dr. Chen is highly regarded for his accomplishments in hospital management and clinical practice.
