Monitors and, whenever possible, influences regulatory developments relating to pharmaceutical patents, trademarks, and copyright, disseminates information to the research-based pharmaceutical industry, and undertakes projects designed to shape government policy on regulatory matters affecting the pharmaceutical industry. The committee maintains contacts with a wide variety of individuals in the healthcare industry.
