Biography
Raymund JR Lin is a Research Scientist (Service Science, Management, & Engineering) at IBM Research – Taiwan Collaboratory. He has a PhD (Information Management) from National Taiwan University, M.S. (Computer Science & Information Engineering) from National Chiao-Tung University. At IBM, his research focuses on adapting product based innovation techniques to services, particularly in healthcare. His research interests include electronic marketplaces, game theory, algorithmic mechanism design, innovation management, and gamification. In his current role in the IBM Research Collaboratory – Taiwan, he is focusing on leveraging social gamification to innovate wellness-centric healthcare services. He was adjunct assistant professor in Business Administration department of National Taiwan University, teaching Strategic Management of Technological Innovations, and adjunct assistant professor in Computer Science & Information Engineering department of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, teaching Software Engineering. Prior to joining IBM, he was section manager (Service Science) at IDEAS, Institute for Information Industry.
