Biography
Dr. Nese Sreenivasulu has 15 years of research experience in plant functional genomics. Since 2013, he is employed as Head of Grain Quality and Nutrition Center at International Rice Research Institute. He is leading a team of more than 30 staff, he is currently focused on exploring the untapped genetic diversity to address grain quality in rice using multidisciplinary genomics strategy. Previously he lead the research group Abiotic Stress Genomics group of IZN at Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK), addressing the molecular mechanisms of stability of seed yield under drought. He holds adjunct position in the school of Plant Biology at University of Western Australia
