Biography
Jinn-Yuh GUH is working as an Associate Professor in Division of Nephrology, Kaohsiung Medical University. He has received his PhD from Kaohsiung Medical University. Achievements include research in first discovery of the role of transforming growth factor receptors in diabetic nephropathy. Research in first discovery of the role of epidermal growth factor in diabetic renal hypertrophy. Research in first discovery of the modulating effect of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors on transforming growth factor receptors in diabetic nephropathy. He is a member of International Society of Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology, Taiwan Society of Diabetology (life), Taiwan Society of Endocrinology (life), Taiwan Society of Nephrology (life Award for outstanding research 1996, Award for outstanding young investigator).
