Biography
Dr. John Doherty joined Alvogen in 2010 and is now the VP of QA for APAC after previously being VP for Global Quality managing 100 people in 6 countries. Prior to joining Alvogen, he worked with Actavis and Mylan overseeing quality, regulatory affairs, and plant management. He has approximately 28-year experience in pharmaceutical operations and has participated in the establishment of plant and quality system of start-ups. John holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from University College Dublin, and a PhD degree in organometallic from University College Dublin. He received his MBA from Henley Management College, the business school of University of Reading.
