Biography
Mr. Sung Ching Chen earned his Ph.D degree in chemical engineering from the National Tsing Hwa University, and specializes in biomaterial and tissue engineering. He joined the BioMedical Technology and Device Research Laboratories of Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan (ITRI) as a researcher after receiving his Ph.D degree. During his stay at ITRI, Dr. Chen has developed several medical device as a researcher, and was also the Director of the medical device manufacturing facility of ITRI and was in charge of establishing quality system with product documentation and product trial run. Dr Chen joined MBI in the Year 2010. His main responsibilities involved research / development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of biomedical products, Dr. Chen now serves as the president of MBI as well as head of Biomedical BU.
