Biography
Juang, Jehn-Yih Associate Professor Office : Room 601, Department of Geogrpahy Email : jjuang@ntu.edu.tw Phone : 886-2-33665837 Website : http://homepage.ntu.edu.tw/~jjuang/ Dr Juang received his Ph.D. degree from Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University. His work at Duke was focused on biosphere-atmosphere interactions, hydrometeorology, micrometeorology, and the impacts of land-use change on local environment. After received his Ph.D. degree, Dr. Juang continued his work as a postdoctoral research fellow at Atmospheric Sciences Modeling Division (ASMD) operated by US EPA and NOAA. His postdoctoral research was mainly on investigating the influences of sub-grid scale land-use on the estimates of chemical deposition velocity in the meso-scale atmospheric model. In the future, Dr Juang is planning to keep working in the fields of land-atmosphere interaction, hydrometeorology, land-use, and environmental measurement and modeling, and focus on the related topics in Taiwan and the vicinity in East Asia.
Research Interest
atmosphere-surface interactions, micrometeorology and microclimatology , air pollution statistical and numerical modeling
