Biography
VDr. Chiu has nearly 20 years of working experience in the biotechnology industry, especially familiar with the Japanese market. Prior to his current post as the Deputy Director General of Biopromotion and Business Development Division and the General Manager of Jer-Son Consulting Company, Dr. Chiu was most recently the Vice Secretary General of Chinese Pharmaceutical Manufacture and Development Association. Dr. Chiu’s extensive research experience includes working as the senior researcher at the Taipie Branch Office of Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. for almost 10 years, and acting as the Research Center Director at China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Group.
Research Interest
Dr. Chiu holds a bachelor degree from National Chung Hsing University and attained his masters degree in Science and Engineering and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University of Tsukuba.
