Biography
Dr. Chen has 25 years of industrial experiences in R&D and Business Development. Prior to TLC, Dr. Chen was a senior director of Worldwide Business Development (WWBD) at Glaxosmithkline (GSK) R&D Shanghai, where she was responsible for the identification, assessment and transaction of collaboration and licensing. Before relocating to Shanghai, Dr. Chen was at GSK WWBD in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina responsible for technology licensing. She also worked at Norak, a startup biotech, as a BD director responsible for partnering with Asian Pharms. Dr. Chen was a molecular Biologist by training and started her career initially at GSK R&D leading Molecular Biology activities before transitioning to GSK Business Development.
Research Interest
Dr. Chen received her Ph.D. from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her MBA from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
