Biography
Ken joined UTAC in November 2014 with more than 30 years of broad experience in the semiconductor industry. He heads sales and operations of UMS - an entity that holds the backend assets acquired from Panasonic in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia in June 2014. Prior to joining UTAC, Ken was the Sales Vice President of Amkor Technology Japan where he was instrumental in expanding Amkor's customer base and sales in Japan over the last 10 years. Ken started his assembly process engineer career in 1980 and served in several key management positions with Hitachi Semiconductor Europe GmbH and Hitachi Hokkai Semiconductor (now J-Devices Semiconductor Hakodate Center) from 1980 to 2000. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Organic Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Hakodate College.
