Biography
Dr. Razi Azmat serves as Director of Human Resources at UCA. He is a human resources professional with extensive experience and expertise in the development, communication and implementation of a pay for performance culture through effective human resource policies and best practices, people management and maintaining a high level of motivation in organisations. Prior to joining UCA, Dr. Azmat was Head of Human Resources at Habib Bank Ltd (HBL), the largest bank in Pakistan with 14,000 employees, over 1,500 branches in-country and operations in 24 countries. At HBL, he was actively involved in restructuring, change management and cultural transformation processes. He provided leadership in leveraging the Bank’s human resources for optimum value addition. Dr. Azmat is a member of the Aga Khan Development Network’s Human Resource Executive Committee. He has a degree in medicine from the University of Karachi, Pakistan.
