Biography
Dr. Srilert Chotpantarat is Lecturer of Hydrology and Hydrogeology and Graduate Program Committee of Earth Science at Geology Department, Faculty of Science and Researcher of Center of Excellence for Environmental and Hazardous Waste Management, Chulalongkorn University. Dr. Srilert has published widely in hydrology and hydrogeology areas including contaminant transport in vadose and saturated zones (i. e. , pesticide, nitrate and heavy metals), groundwater flow and solute transport modeling accounting for the geochemical reaction. Dr. Srilert has served mining companies and government agency as an expert in mining environment and give comments and suggestion to prevent mining sites from acid mine drainage problem and their consequences for groundwater contamination. Moreover, Dr. Srilert has served as a reviewer for many journals such as Journal of Soils and Sediments, Journal of Geology and mining research, and Sustainable Environmental Research (Formerly, Journal of Environmental Engineering and Management, JEEAM).
Research Interest
His main research interests include Hydrology Hydrogeology Groundwater Contamination and Modeling Fate and Transport of Contaminants Soil and groundwater remediation techniques Risk Assessment of groundwater Water Resources Management Environmental Management Colloidal transport
