Biography

Dr Devinder Singh is presently a Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore. Dr Singh graduated from Gahuati Medical College, Guwahati University, India. Subsequently, he did his training in Internal Medicine at Pt BDS Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak (India) and obtained his Masters Degree in Year 2000. He obtained membership of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) in Year 2006. Thereafter, Dr Singh did his Advanced Specialty Training (AST) in Cardiology at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore. Before joining National University Heart Centre, Singapore, he was an Associate Consultant in the Cardiac Department at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr Singh did fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Advanced Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Duke University, North Carolina, USA. He has also completed level 2 training in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Duke University, North Carolina, USA. Dr Singh has keen interests in clinical cardiology, cardiac rhythm disorders (arrhythmia), cardiac pacing (including cardiac resynchronization therapy) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He performs electrophysiology study and radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. He also implants pacemakers and defibrillators.
