Biography
Dr Olszyna received his medical degree from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He completed his advanced medical specialty training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. In 2001, he was awarded a PhD in medicine from the University of Amsterdam. Dr Olszyna has been working in the field of HIV for more than 10 years, both in clinical care of people living with HIV/AIDS as well as in teaching. His clinical interests beyond HIV/AIDS are viral hepatitis B and C with particular interest in HIV/hepatitis C co-infections.
